In case sad news has not reached you, another longstanding local beekeeper has died.
John Crick passed away on 27th September 2011, peacefully at the Hospice of St. Francis, Berkhamsted, aged 75 years. Much loved by his family and friends including many of us Buckinghamshire beekeepers. An inspiration to many beekeepers in the High Wycome and surrounding areas. He will be sadly missed.
John’s funeral will be next Monday, 10th October at Amersham Crematorium at 11:00am. Then service of thanksgiving at the Wesley Church, Priory Road, High Wycombe at 12:15.

John was for many years Chairman of Wycombe Beekeepers and President of the County – it was due to ill health that he stood down from that role in 2008; Bob Hunter succeeded him.
