There is a wealth of magazines and journals available to beekeepers; serving everyone from the beginner to the expert.  Your Local Association may well have a library that you can borrow magazines, journals and books from.

Below is a small collection of these that our Committee subscribe to, click on the images to go to their websites.  From time to time special offers are available, and you may find that you can read part of the magazine online.  Please speak with your Membership Secretary if you are interested in subscribing, as on occasions the local Associations have been able to negotiate preferential rates.

NOTE: We do not entertain any approaches from publishers to include their publications here; only taking recommendations from the members of the Local Associations that are part of Buckinghamshire County Beekeepers.

When it comes to purchasing books then there’s many options to choose from:

Amazon: Offering discounts on many books, in paper and Kindle formats.

The BBKA Guide to Beekeeping, Second Edition

The Bee Manual: The Complete Step-by-Step Guide to Keeping Bees

Northern Bee Books: A great source for Beekeepking books – Old and New.
